Buying Process

So…. You’ve decided to start the journey to build your dream home in Waterford County…. it’s an exciting time; and we are here to help.

The purchase process in buying a block of land is as follows:

1. Finance

Make some preliminary enquires as your borrowing capacity with a lender or broker.

2. Conveyancer

Select a conveyancer/solicitor to act for you on the purchase of your block of land; we can suggest a number of conveyances/solicitors if needs be.

3. Choose your block of land

Our team at the Land Sales Centre will help you select a block of land that fits your needs and requirements.

4. Secure your block

Pay a $500 deposit by either cash, cheque or EFT; this deposit is fully refundable without restriction.

5. Land sales contract

Upon paying the $500 deposit we will issue to your conveyancer/solicitor a Land Sales Contract; this will be completed generally with 24 hours.

6. Exchange of contracts

Generally, we seek to have contracts exchanged within three (3) weeks of the $500 deposit being paid. Upon contracts being exchanged an additional $9500 is payable at that time.

7. Settlement of land

With unregistered land (land sold off the plan) settlement is 14 days after registration of title. On registered land, settlement is 42 days after exchange of contracts.
